Close & Document alerts without specifications
1. Log in to CareSimple.
2. On the left side of the portal, click on the Alerts tab.
3. Roll out alerts using the arrow on the right side of each description.
Considering that the severity filter is set by default, the first alert displayed on the drop-down menu is always the oldest one. It allows you to prioritize alerts that have been triggered for a longer time.
5. To Close & Document one or multiple alert(s) without justification, use the checkbox in the Alerts tab to select the alert(s) and press Close & Document. The alert(s) will be removed from the list.
6. If the patient has multiple alerts, it will show you how many alerts you are gonna close at the same time. Click on Close to confirm.
If you need to justify why those alerts are closed, you need to go into the patient's chart to give a reason for each of them one by one. Refer to this section for more information about how to close alerts with a justification.
6. The alerts are now closed and the notification number is also reduced according to the number of alerts you closed.
Close & Document alerts with specifications
1. To Close & Document alerts with justification, you must click on the patient's chart.
2. This will bring you to the Alerts tab of the patient's chart. You will be able to see all medical & compliance alerts this patient has. Select the ones you want to close and click on Close & Document to confirm.
3. A new window will appear with the information about the alert(s) you will close.
4. Select the Type and Action Taken by using the drop-down menus. Add notes if you wish, and click on Close to confirm.
5. The Alert does not show on the patient's chart anymore and the notification number of the Alerts on the left side of the portal is also reduced.
Reopen closed alerts
1. Go to the patient's chart for who you want to reopen one or multiple alert(s). Click on Clinical Log.
2. Search for the previously closed alert by scrolling down. By hovering the alert, the Reopen button will appear. Click on it.
3. The alert is automatically reopened, which means it will display once again in the patient's chart and also in the medical section of the Alerts tab. Also, the notification number of the Alerts tab will increase according to the number of reopened alerts.
