Instructions:
Patient's section
1. Log in to CareSimple.
2. The first page you will see is the patients list. On this page, you can see all patients profiles and if they have an alert, it will show right in front of their name.
Note that it is showing the most severe alert (medical or compliance) and that it can be a combined amount of alerts.
Alert's section
1. Log in to CareSimple.
2. Click on Alerts on the left side of the dashboard.
3. Alerts are separated into two categories which are Medical and Compliance.
Medical alerts are set to be filtered according to the severity which is illustrated by icons. You can always view alerts from the oldest to the most recent by clicking on Date; viewing patients with the highest number of alerts first is also possible when you click on Number. Finally, clicking on Patient Name will allow you to display patients in alphabetical order.
Compliance alerts indicate alerts that are not related to the health conditions of the patients. Compliance alerts are triggered when the patient doesn't take their measurements/doesn't sync their data. They are intended for the administrative assistant. There are several types of compliance alerts. The most useful type is a minimum of 4 days of data in the past week.
For each patient, once per week, they receive either 1 compliance alert (if the patient took 0, 1, 2 or 3 measurements in the past week) or 0 compliance alerts (if the patient took 4 or more measurements in the past week).
Compliance alerts can be set on the Care Plan editor using Smart Events parameters. Compliance would arrive for each patient 7 days after they were onboarded and the alerts were created. For more information about how to add Smart Events to a patient's Care Plan, please refer to the Smart Event section of this article.
4. You can filter the type of severity you want to see by clicking on each of them in the drop down menu.
Notifications
1. The first way to get notified of all the alerts that are not closed is by looking at the Alert tab icon. You will see a red number on it displaying the number of medical alerts only.
Note that when you close & document an alert, the count will go down. If you reopen an alert, the count will go up. Refer to this article for more information on how to close and reopen alerts.
2. You will also be notified for the alerts which you chose to receive notifications in the patient's care plan. Typically, alerts are for significantly high or low values. The alert will display the patient's name, time triggered, severity, alert type, number and description.
3. Like alerts, you will be notified for new messages as well. You are able to view who the message is from and a preview of the message contents by pressing on the envelope icon on the upper right corner highlighted in red.
