Assign/Unassign/Reassign/Delete Devices

Assign a device

A device can be assigned to a patient either from a bulk order of devices received by the care team or when it becomes unassigned from a patient who has subsequently been offboarded.


In other words, to be assigned manually, a device needs to be unassigned first. Please look at this section for more information on how to unassign a device.

  1. In the "Unassigned" side of the Devices section, locate the device you want to assign and click on "Assign".

Depending on the device type, a warning message may appear to certify that the device is new and has not been used by another patient in the past. Click on the square icon and then "Assign" to continue if it is the case.

  1. Search the patient you want to assign the device to with the search bar. A list of patients will appear. Select the patient and then click on "Confirm".

  1. The patient's information will be shown. Confirm that these are right and then click on "Assign" to assign the device to the patient.

  1. A confirmation window will appear. The device is now assigned to the patient's profile.

Unassign a device

1. If your patient does not need his device anymore, press the Devices icon on the left-handed side of the dashboard and click on Unassign highlighted below. 

A message will follow asking you to confirm your choice. 

Unassign and Delete a Device

To be deleted, a device needs to be unassigned first. After a device has been unassigned, it will go into the Unassigned list.  

If you wish to delete the device from the Unassigned list : 

1. Scroll to the right. Your screen should look like this :

2. Click on the Remove button associated with whichever device you want to delete. A pop-up window will appear on the top of the screen.

3. Click on Delete to confirm and the device will be deleted from the list.


Add Device from the Patient Chart

If you decide to prescribe another device to a patient, you can easily do it from the patient's profile. This also applies to a patient who did not have a device in the first place. 

1. Go to the dashboard and find your patient using the search bar. Once you are on the patient's profile, go to the Devices section and press on + ADD DEVICE. 

2. A new window will appear with all the possible devices to add. The ones marked with a grey checkmark are already ordered by the client. Click on Next to confirm.
